“The whole point of wellness and this journey is not selfish, it’s about being the best person you can be, so that you can do the things that light you up with the people that you love and serve, this is the whole point of being well.”

Meet corporate executive turned author, teacher, and certified wellness coach, Kathy Robinson. In her book  The Athena Principles:  Simple Wellness Practices for Overworked Professionals, Kathy shares down-to-earth self-care tips and practices that we can employ when we choose to begin our wellness journey.

Kathy began her career on Wall Street and spent 15 years at a Fortune 250 company before retiring as its Chief Risk Officer and Chief Audit Executive.  After decades assessing the wellness of corporations, she turned the lens from professional assessments to personal ones, becoming a certified coach and sharing her wellness journey and philosophy in her book.

As a wellness coach, Kathy’s focus is on driving behavioral change that increases engagement and productivity to help her clients live their best possible lives. She’s an ally and cheerleader who helps her clients ensure all their hard work and progress are sustainable.

Along with encouraging advice and guidance her book is filled with motivational stories of not only her own wellness journey, but also inspiring wellness success stories from her clients. Kathy projects patience, calmness and openness, and this same tone is echoed in our conversation as well.

I invite you to Have A Seat with Kathy and gain a better understanding of what living wholeheartedly can truly mean.
