Ayanna Chambliss was an Executive Assistant with The Coker Group for 16 years, when her leadership recognized the high level work that needed to be done in their organization, and had the amazing insight to promote from within, by reorganizing Ayanna’s position to better align with the new duties assigned to her, as Vice President of Administration.
In our conversation we discuss Ayanna’s journey from C-Suite EA to VP, the challenges she now faces, the leadership and organizational changes she intends to implement within herself and her wonderful opportunity to pay it all forward as she collaborates with her own administrative assistant.
It’s not very often that we get a “behind the scenes” look at what it takes for an administrative professional to break out of their comfort zone, level up and take on new responsibilities with confidence and determination.
