The Power of a Solid Introduction, A Have A Seat Minicast

We must reject not only the stereotypes that others hold of us, but also the stereotypes that we hold of ourselves.― Shirley Chisholm
Introduction is defined as: a formal presentation of one person to another.
I believe it is a simple act that can carry a lot of weight.
The way and manner in which we introduce ourselves can be a direct reflection of how we view ourselves through others eyes. Along with the tone and the words we use, all of which can add up to a rich or poor introduction, and in this new workplace we are in, those first few seconds matter.
As a podcaster I have the pleasure of conducting introductions weekly so listen in for some helpful tips to ensure your next introduction is on point.

Creating Have A Seat...Conversations with Women in the Workplace Podcast was a way for me to engage in weekly conversations with women about their career journey and share them in a fun and supportive way. I truly believe we all have a unique story to tell; we add value in what we do and are rock stars in our own right and I'm excited to bring you these stories every week.
