From Loss to Purpose: June Collins Journey of Healing and Empowering Women After Child Loss

“I have already lived my worst day, every day after will be better than that day”

In today's episode, I have a special conversation that will resonate with those recovering from life-changing trauma or events.

My guest, June Collins, shares her journey of personal growth and finding purpose after the unexpected loss of her son, Kaleb.

June's devastating experience led her to create a community and coaching platform called Life After Child, where she provides support and healing to other women who have experienced child loss.

Alongside her platform, June wrote a powerful book titled "Momma, You Don't Heal," which explores the process of rebuilding after a traumatic event.

Whether you have experienced trauma, are seeking your purpose, or simply find inspiration in stories of resilience, this episode is for you.

So grab a seat and tune in to this empowering conversation with June Collins on finding purpose and rebuilding life after loss.

Author

June K. Collins is an Author, Master NLP Practitioner and Coach. In 2012, her life was turned upside down when her 2 1/2 year son, Kaleb, passed away. As she hit rock bottom, June knew she could not live the rest of her life the way she was. As June began to rebuild and find her purpose in life, she became intrigued by the mind. June became a Master in Neuro Linguistic Programing, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy. Through June's studies, she founded Life After Child. Life After Child coaching, helps women rebuild and find purpose in their life after child loss.

June K. Collins' first book details her experiences with child loss and the demons she faced. She wrote Momma, You Don't Heal to help other women realize they are not alone and to guide them in beginning the initial steps to rebuild their own life with purpose. June believes part of rebuilding life after child loss, is understand that your life is forever changed and you will never be the person you once were and that is okay. She believes that life can move forward with purpose, while still honoring your child daily. It's not about hiding your child from the world but starting the legacy they will be remembered for.

In her spare time, June spends every minute she can with her daughter. She loves to read and continues to educate herself on the mind. June volunteers at an animal shelter and also loves taking pictures. Today, June, her husband and daughter, (And MANY Animals), live in Hahira, GA.
